Ed Neiderhiser is an ordained Lutheran minister with a Ph.D. in Hebrew Scriptures.  He recently retired after more than 40 years in active ministry including 26 years as Director of Chaplaincy Services at the Graterford State Prison.   Ed is also an experienced performer on trumpet, flugelhorn, and piccolo trumpet playing, composing, and arranging for many years in classic, jazz, blues, pop, and liturgical venues. He has been fortunate to play with some of the finest jazz performers in the Southeast Pennsylvania area and has recorded under his own name as well as with several other jazz artists.
