David took up the bass guitar in high school to fill the void in his High School band, and later played in several rock, concert and big bands.   David studied double bass with noted Philadelphia bassist Paul Klinefelter, and has played extensively in the Philadelphia and New York area.  David also plays guitar, mandolin, tuba, euphonium and bass trombone, and has played with local concert bands and orchestras.  Some of David’s favorite productions as Director, Musical Director and  Pit musician  include Urinetown (Bass), Sister Act (Director/Choreographer), next to normal (Bass/Bass Guitar), The Rocky Horror Show (Stage Director/Keyboards), 13 the Musical (Director), Cabaret (Stage and Musical Director), Anything Goes (Director), Jekyll & Hyde (Musical Director), Hair (Pit Director/Bass Guitar), Legally Blonde (Conductor), Fiddler on the Roof (Guitar/Mandolin) and Little Shop of Horrors (Pit Director/Guitar-Mandolin).  David studied Theatre at Potsdam College.
